82 Les Paul Custom b180 viewsThis used to be a Cherry Sunburst (3 piece top). I put on a Kahler stud mount trem on it in 87. I regretted doing it shortly afterwards and the guitar sat for awhile. In 99 I had taken up guitar repair and I had built some solid bodies from scratch. I decided to try and refinish this. I filled the hole with a piece of oak and finished the body in Re-Ranch ebony laquer base and laquer clear coat. It came out great.

2005 GIBSON LES PAUL STANDARD FADED SUNBURST '59180 viewsThis is a 2005 Les Paul Standard Faded in a beautiful honey/lemondrop "unburst" top. This is a particularly light (about 8.4 lbs) and resonant guitar. It's a really good sounding Les Paul and I searched through numerous Les Pauls to find this one. The top is in great condition with no major nicks, dings or scrapes. The back of the guitar has 2-3 small marks on that need the guitar to be held at an angle in the light to bee seen. I did install the pickguard as to me, sunburst Les Pauls look naked without them. The back of the neck has been sanded. The neck is a "50's shape but was sanded a very small bit bit to resemble a particular 1959 Les Paul. Also, the neck shaping the sanded neck is much less sticky and as a result, the guitar plays effortlessly. I realize many people might not like the look of the sanded neck and I believe my opening price fairly takes this into consideration. The neck can be oversprayed and if done professionally, should be hardly noticeable. Include original Gibson hardshell case (shroud was removed) and truss rod adjustment tool and Gibson booklet. Feel free to contact me with any questions.
