82 Les Paul Custom b222 viewsThis used to be a Cherry Sunburst (3 piece top). I put on a Kahler stud mount trem on it in 87. I regretted doing it shortly afterwards and the guitar sat for awhile. In 99 I had taken up guitar repair and I had built some solid bodies from scratch. I decided to try and refinish this. I filled the hole with a piece of oak and finished the body in Re-Ranch ebony laquer base and laquer clear coat. It came out great.

2005 GIBSON LES PAUL STANDARD FADED SUNBURST '59222 viewsThis is a 2005 Les Paul Standard Faded in a beautiful honey/lemondrop "unburst" top. This is a particularly light (about 8.4 lbs) and resonant guitar. It's a really good sounding Les Paul. The back of the neck has been sanded to a true 1959 Les Paul spec. The stock Burstbuckers are excellent. This is one of my top 3 playing guitars. Flat out great.
